Man pleads not guilty to public indecency charge
WARREN — A man charged with public indecency for standing outside in his underwear and urinating in the driveway of 263 Atlantic St. NE Saturday evening pleaded not guilty in Warren Municipal Court on Monday.
Justin P. Pater, 1228 W. Market St., was assigned a $2,500 bond and ordered to return to court for a hearing on May 24, according to court records.
Police found Pater in the driveway of the home wearing nothing but his gray underwear and urinating on the sidewalk as people watched. Pater, who was visibly intoxicated, according to the police report, asked why he was being detained.
He told officers he had an argument with his girlfriend and was forced to take his clothes off and get out of the house. Pater, according to the police report, was trying to get to his sister’s house.
Officers took him to his sister’s house, the report states.
