Rep. Timothy Ryan will co-chair military mental health task force
WARREN — Congressman Timothy J. Ryan, D-Howland, will co-chair the bipartisan Military Mental Health Task Force, a group of lawmakers in the House who will address mental health and suicide prevention in the military.
The task force will host several briefings and roundtable discussions with subject matter experts, provide information, and provide resources to task force members and their staffs so they can learn about the challenges facing service members, including those retired from military service and their families.
Republican U.S. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler of Pennsylvania is the other co-chairman. The task force is part of the Congressional Mental Health Caucus.
