Weathersfield rehires principal
WEATHERSFIELD — The school board has rehired Randy Cameron as high school principal to a new five-year contract that pays him $66,000 the first year.
Cameron, who retired from the district as principal last spring, had to wait 60 days before being rehired and returning to the position. He has been with the district as a teacher and principal since 1987 and also served as a teacher in Niles City Schools and as a principal at Mathews High School.
The contract is effective to July 2023. The pay for years two through five has not been determined.
