WHAT: Trustees special meeting Friday

PRESENT: Ron Haun, Dan Suttles and Gary Lees.

Trustees:

• Approved renewing an agreement with Lexipol Policy Management for the police department at $4,222 and adding the fire department at $2,642. Suttles said Lexipol provides online policies, procedures and training manuals for public safety departments. He said with plans for a new fire chief this year they wanted to include the fire department with the system;

• Accepted a $2,000 grant from Ohio Township Association Risk Management Authority, which handles the township’s insurance, to help pay for the agreements with Lexipol;

• Decided to discontinue the phone service at the township park and go with internet service for the park’s alarm system at $65 per month. The old fee was $40 per month.
