YOUNGSTOWN — Germaine Bennett of Youngstown has been reappointed to the Mill Creek MetroParks board of commissioners.

Bennett, whose term ended Saturday, will be sworn in Monday by Mahoning County Probate Court Judge Robert N. Rusu Jr.

Rusu will reconvene a screening committee to find a replacement for Robert Durick, who left the board when his term expired Saturday to focus more time on his dental practice and other business interests. He served since 2010.

Interested candidates must complete an application for appointment available at the court or on its website at http://probate.mahoningcountyoh.gov. The application must be notarized and filed with court by 4:30 p.m. Jan. 20.
