ONE Health gets $65,000 in fed funds

YOUNGSTOWN — U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Howland, announced Ohio will receive $3,537,000 in funding from the Department of Health and Human Services under the American Rescue Plan to support 54 Ohio health centers.

In the Mahoning Valley, ONE Health Ohio received $65,500 on Aug. 8 from the Health Resources and Services Administration through the American Rescue Plan, said Dr. Ronald Dwinnells, CEO of ONE Health Ohio.

“The funds are to be used to continue modernizing our efforts to identify and respond to specific needs of patients and communities through improved data quality, advancing COVID-19 response and helping to prepare for future public health emergencies.”

One Health Ohio, has been providing health care to the citizens of the Mahoning Valley for the past 36 years.
