Fri. 9:52 a.m.: Howland drug raid nets cash, marijuana, THC products

HOWLAND — A drug raid netting marijuana and THC products plus cash occurred at a home in the 2100 block of Ewalt Avenue in Howland.

It happened late last month as agents with the Trumbull Action Group drug task force executed a search warrant.

According to a TAG news release, the raid was the culmination of a multi-month drug investigation. At the time of the raid, five adults and two young children were at the home, while two adults were located in the garage that was converted to living space.

Agents recovered more than 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 140 grams of THC wax, 100 THC vape pens, 14 THC cartridges and more than $12,000.

Criminal charges are pending further investigation and lab analysis of recovered evidence, TAG officials noted in the release.

In the raid, TAG agents were helped by the Trumbull County Sheriffás Office, the Howland Township Police Department, and the Warren Police Street Crimes Unit.
