Windows broken out at Trumbull County Courthouse

WARREN — The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office has a “person of interest” in the vandalism this morning at the Trumbull County Courthouse and expects to make an arrest in the next few days, according to Trumbull County Sheriff Paul Monroe.

He said more than a dozen first-floor windows were broken out with rocks. Only one window was broken all the way through to the inside, while the others had only one pane broken. The windows are double-pane glass, Monroe said.

He said no windows were broken in the courtrooms, but all of the broken windows were in offices, including the clerk’s office.

He said the person of interest is a woman and she will face charges of felony vandalism. He said charges likely will be filed Monday.
