WARREN – Officers used a tourniquet to help a man with a gunshot wound to the leg after finding the man injured by gunfire in a vehicle on South Street, according to a police report.

Willie J. Dawson, 33, Warren, was transported to Trumbull Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Police were called just before 1 a.m. Saturday to the 200 block of Lane Avenue SW on the reports shots were fired. Detectives are investigating, the report states.
