Trumbull County schools going remote through end of year; athletics suspended
Beginning Monday, Nov. 30, Trumbull County’s public school districts will shift to remote learning through at least Jan. 3, 2021.
The move is being done in accordance with recommendations from the Trumbull County Board of Health as key indicators in the county continue to rise above levels that local health officials consider safe.
Today, the Trumbull County Board of Health passed the COVID-19 health advisory for Trumbull County recommending all public schools within the county transition to remote learning through the end of the 2020 calendar year. All athletics and activities will be suspended through at least Dec. 22, 2020, at which point Trumbull County’s public school districts will reassess the COVID-19 situation.
