Snow forecast triggers area parking bans
The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a winter storm warning through Tuesday evening in the Mahoning Valley.
NWS officials said rain will begin changing to snow late today. Accumulation of up to two inches of snow is possible overnight. Snow is forecast to continue throughout the day Tuesday, accumulating an additional three to five inches.
As a result, the following communities have listed snow parking bans:
– LIBERTY – 12 a.m. Tuesday through noon Wednesday
– NILES – Beginning 12:01 a.m. Tuesday through 3 p.m. Wednesday.
These communities are advising motorists to remove vehicles from streets, or face potential citations or vehicle impound.
