Julia Cooper’s ‘Voice’ run is over

Julia Cooper’s run on “The Voice”ended Monday.

The Poland native was voted off the singing competition at the beginning of the live episode when the winner of the Four-Way Knockout round was announced.

The knockout round featured singers from each team who lost in the head-to-head round but were saved by their coaches.

Winner Taryn Papa was selected through online voting by viewers.

Cooper, 21, attended Poland schools through eighth grade but attended a performing arts charter school in Midland, Pa., from high school. Growing up she performed at Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre.

She auditioned for the show last spring while studying commercial songwriting at Middle Tennessee State University outside Nashville.
