Biden campaign bus tour rolls into Youngstown Monday
YOUNGSTOWN — The Biden for President campaign kicks off its Midwest leg of the “Soul of the Nation” bus tour today with stops today in Columbus, Canton and Youngstown.
While the candidate is not part of the tour, local leaders will be at each stop to discuss Biden’s merits. The bus stop and “drive-thru swag pickup” will encourage supporters to snap a selfie with the bus and pick up free Biden-Harris campaign gear, according to the campaign.
Participants will be required to social distance and wear facial coverings at each event, according to the campaign.
The kickoff begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Infinity Home Furniture Parking Lot, 1780 Morse Road, Columbus; arrive at the United Steelworkers Golden Lodge Local 1123, 1234 Harrison Ave. SW, Canton, at 1:30 p.m.; and then pull into the Academy of Urban Scholars High School parking lot, 3405 Market St., Youngstown, for a 5:30 p.m. event.
