Warren shooting victim identified as Youngstown man
WARREN — An autopsy of the city’s 15th homicide victim of the year was performed today, and forensics identified the dead man as 25-year-old Queysean Sallis of Youngstown.
According to Kathy Meszaros, chief forensic investigator for the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office, Sallis died of multiple gunshot wounds after being shot Friday evening at the Hampshire House apartments. Meszaros said Sallis, of 1749 Gertrude Place Youngstown, was identified through fingerprints.
According to a Trumbull County 911 report, a woman called 911 around 7 p.m. to report there were people shooting outside her apartment at 1413 Fifth St. SW. A second caller told dispatchers that someone was dead and she saw two men, both with guns, outside the complex.
