Warren City Council postpones tonight’s meeting

WARREN — Warren City Council called off its meeting that was scheduled for tonight.

Council was expected to place more than $32 million worth of construction projects forward. Three of four of the projects need to be completed by June 2021, according to Warren Waste Water Director Ed Haller.

Councilman Ken MacPherson, D-5th Ward, questioned whether council should approve moving the sewer and infrastructure projects forward without further review.

The meeting was postponed because of Gov. Mike DeWine’s order not to have more than 10 persons in a single room. There are 11 council members, including the council president.

Haller said each of these projects are Ohio Environmental Protection Agency required.
