Wed. 1:34 p.m.: Trumbull MetroParks reopen after flooding
After being closed last week due to flooding brought on by heavy rainfall, Foster Park, Canoe City Park and Thomas Swift MetroParks all reopened today, Trumbull County MetroParks announced.
Visitors were blocked and events scheduled at the parks postponed until flood waters receded and cleanup efforts were completed.
