Mon. 2:20 p.m.: Details of Sunday’s tornado in Trumbull County released
WARREN – The National Weather Service storm survey has confirmed a tornado with EF-1 damaged occurred Sunday afternoon. The Weather Service released the following data on the storm:
It began at 4:11 p.m. in Southington, and tracked 13 miles to the southeast before lifting in Warren.
The twister had estimated peak winds at 100 mph and reached a maximum width of 250 feet.
No deaths or injuries were reported,but damage included several outbuildings and extensive tree damage.
