Mon. 9 p.m.: Man charged after woman dies from crash injuries

A man facing charges in connection to a head-on collision earlier this month that left one woman dead and another seriously injured had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit, according to a crash report issued by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Kyle B. Munson, 30, North River Road NE, failed physical sobriety tests conducted by the patrol and his blood alcohol content was .166 after the 2:13 p.m. April 19 crash, according to the crash report. The legal limit is .08.

Munson crossed the center line on North River Road near Commonwealth Avenue in his 2007 Mitsubishi pickup truck, hitting head on a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Betty Geiwitz, 75, Durst Colebrook, North Bloomfield, according to the crash report.
