Thu. 12:11 p.m.: Cafaros donate $1.5M to YSU for intramural field

YOUNGSTOWN – The Cafaro family has donated $1.5 million to build a new intramural field at Youngstown State University.

The complex, which will be on the north side of the university on Elm Street, will be used for a variety of student recreational activities, including soccer and lacrosse, according to a release today from YSU. It will also include restrooms, seating and fencing, and is expected to be lighted.
