Thu. 6:28 p.m.: Mother guilty of child endangering

LIBERTY – A woman who left her toddler daughter alone at home while she went out to get alcohol pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of endangering children.

Candis Wynn, 31, was ordered to pay a $150 fine and court costs and sentenced to one year of probation by Girard Municipal Court Judge Jeffrey D. Adler on the misdemeanor charge.

Alder also gave Wynn, 1815 Lucretia Drive, Girard, a suspended 180-day jail sentence, crediting her 21 days she spent in jail, court records show.
