Fri. 3:35 p.m. : Man accused of dragging state trooper with car turns self into police
YOUNGSTOWN – The man accused of dragging an Ohio State Highway patrolman after a traffic stop Thursday night in Youngstown has surrendered to police.
Jamel Robert Patton, 22, of Youngstown, turned himself in at the Austintown police station earlier today.
Police believe he was behind the wheel of car that dragged trooper Mike Miller for about 1.5 miles after a traffic stop just before 11:30 p.m. on Kirk Road near Meridian Road.
