• GIRARD CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION will have a special meeting at 8:15 a.m. Thursday in the mayor’s office conference room.

• NEWTON TOWNSHIP ZONING APPEALS BOARD will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday at the township administration building to discuss zoning business / reports.

• TRUMBULL CAREER & TECHNICAL CENTER BOARD will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the board meeting room in Champion. The high school and policy committees will meet at 6 p.m.

• WESTERN RESERVE PORT AUTHORITY finance committee will meet at noon Thursday at the Youngstown office, 100 E. Federal St., Youngstown.
