Rodeo Night set in N. Bloomfield
RODEO NIGHT: The Northeast Counties Farm Bureau, covering Trumbull, Geauga, Ashtabula and Lake counties, invites members and guests to a special Rodeo Night on June 27 at 2211 Kinsman Road NW, North Bloomfield.
The event will be filled with family-friendly activities, giveaways and an exclusive Farm Bureau member perk — free rides on the mechanical bull (weather permitting). Tailgating starts at 6 p.m. Kids’ rodeo starts at 7 p.m. and Ranch Rodeo starts at 8 p.m.
Farm Bureau members will receive two $5 food vouchers for Pritt Concessions (two vouchers per membership). Be sure to bring a Farm Bureau member ID card. Farm Bureau members can test their skills and enjoy a ride in the mechanical bull competition at no cost. Nonmembers are welcome to ride for a small fee. Guests of all ages will enjoy spinning the prize wheel for ag trivia and giveaways.
Presale tickets are available at www.highsteelrodeo.com/currentevents until Thursday. Adult presale tickets are $18 and kids ages 3-12 are $10 and are nonrefundable. Tickets can also be purchased the night of the event at the gate. Tickets at the gate are $20 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3-12.

NIGHT AT THE RACES: The Alba Club will be hosting a “Night at the Races” at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Ali Baba Grotto Hall, 760 Perkins Jones Road, Warren.
Own and name your horse. Ten authentic races will be run. Each race has 10 horses. Cost is $15 for each horse or five for $50 (first-come, first-served basis). Sponsor an entire race for $50.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Cost is $10 at the door, which includes food and drink. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
