• NEWTON FALLS PLANNING / ZONING COMMISSION has canceled its meeting for today because of a lack of agenda items.

• MECCA TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will have a special meeting at 1 p.m. today at the township hall to discuss with the planning commission the scope for work for the town hall improvements.

• WARREN TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will have a special meeting at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the township administration building to meet with department heads, discuss grants and the 2025 OPWC project. Trustees also will meet at 1 p.m. on the JEDD agreement with Kimberly-Clark.

• TRUMBULL COUNTY COMMISSIONERS will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the commissioners’ hearing room.

• WARREN CITY COUNCIL will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the safety service complex with a caucus at 4:15 p.m. The finance committee will meet at 3:45 p.m. on pending legislation.

• SOUTHINGTON TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at township hall.

• HOWLAND TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will meet 6 p.m. Wednesday at the township administration building.

• TRUMBULL COUNTY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Howland Township administration building.

• LORDSTOWN BOARD OF EDUCATION will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the administration building.

• GIRARD BOARD OF APPEALS will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the mayor’s office conference room.
