Easter Bunny hops in with photo op
PHOTOS WITH EASTER BUNNY: The Animal Welfare League, 812 Youngstown Kingsville Road, Vienna, will hold photos with the Easter Bunny for pets and children from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be a free Easter egg hunt at noon today. Craft vendors will also be on site and also a bake sale. There will be a basket raffle. For information call 330-539-5300, ext. 146.
TNP CLEANUP: Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership will host a citywide cleanup 10 a.m. to noon April 26 at various sites across Warren. Free bags, gloves and pickers will be provided with a Gotta Go Green grant from the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District. WHAT’S IN THE SKY TONIGHT?: The Cortland Library Branch will hold a free program, “What’s in the Sky Tonight?” at 3 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room, 578 Lakeview Drive. The program is designed to help children learn about celestial objects, constellations and planets that are visible in the night sky through a planetarium style presentation.
VOLUNTEER COUNCIL: The Community Volunteer Council will hold its annual gathering at 10 a.m. April 5 at Aulizio’s, 4395 Youngstown Road, SE, Warren. The theme is “Our Future Now,” hosted by Michael Engram with panelists Trinity Walker, Bethany Boykin, Airiz Coleman and Riley Cord. There will be two $500 scholarships presented, a basket raffle and 50/ 50.

MEN’S RALLY FUNDRAISER: The Men’s Rally in the Valley is planned for May 24 at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. A fundraiser and informational display is set for 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the community booth at the Eastwood Mall in Niles.
BINGO AND CARDS: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica Mothers of the Crucifix Society are hosting a Bingo and Card Party 3 p.m. on Sunday at the social hall, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown. Cost is $7 and lunch is included.
TRAVEL CLUB: The Trumbull County Travel Club presents “Light Houses, Beaches, Islands & History” beginning April 23 to 285.
First on tap is the port city of Norfolk, Virginia, featuring the Nauticus, a cruise and the International Tattoo Military Show, three days on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, stopping in the Wright Brothers, lighthouses and a dune Jeep ride to see the wild horses.
