• LIBERTY BOARD OF EDUCATION will hold a special meeting 5:30 p.m. today in the board conference room for a workshop to discuss district finances, staffing, capital improvement needs, district records retention, curriculum and other business. No action will be taken.

• WARREN TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will hold a special meeting 3:30 p.m. today at the township administration building to meet with attorneys regarding the proposed removal of the Leavittsburg Dam.

• LORDSTOWN COUNCIL Public Safety Committee will meet 4:30 p.m. today at the village municipal building to meet with the fire department and emergency medical services committee.
