WINTER WONDERLAND: The Brookfield Library Branch will hold a winter wonderland with music, games and refreshments from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Paulette Darko will be performing ukulele at 11 a.m.

MENARDS FOOD DRIVE: Menards home improvement store on Elm Road in Bazetta is hosting a non-perishable food drive for the Warren Family Mission. The store has a grocery department so donors can donate at the checkout. The drive will continue through the end of March.

MUSIC CLUB TO MEET: Warren Music Club, a member of the Ohio and National Federation of Music Clubs, will meet 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of Karl and Jeannine Morris. The program is open to the public.

NFMC Founders Day and Celebrate Strings will be observed. The meeting will close with the singing of “A Gift of Song” by Lana Bailey, past NFMC president, accompanied by Elaine Maki. Hostesses Linda McCarthy and Elaine Maki will serve dessert.

TCGS TO MEET: The next meeting of the Trumbull County Genealogical Society will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Grant Room of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren.

The program will be presented by Gary Moss, who owns the Octagon House in Kinsman where Clarence Darrow lived. The meeting is free.

OWLS OF OHIO: Mosquito Lake State Park naturalist Jason Lee will present a program on owls of Ohio 2 p.m. Saturday at the Warren Trumbull County Public Library. The event will include live owls.

H.O.P.E. NOMINEES SOUGHT: The deadline to submit nominations for the H.O.P.E. honoree recipients for 2025 will be Wednesday.

The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is looking for nominees who are Honorable, Outstanding, Philanthropic and Excellent (HOPE).

These are honorees who have gone above and beyond to help or assist others in the Valley. The H.O.P.E. honorees will be recognized, and the H.O.P.E. Award recipient announced at the 13th annual Wine for Hope on April 11 at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield. Nomination form and details can be found at hopemv.org.
