CHRISTMAS MARKET: The Howland Farmers Market will have its annual Christmas Market 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Howland SCOPE Center, 8273 High St. NE. Participating vendors will have fresh, locally grown vegetables, microgreens, sweets, coffee, homemade crafts, local honey, and health and beauty items. The market accepts SNAP / EBT and PEBT, and has also partnered with Produce Perks Midwest to double up SNAP dollar for dollar up to $25 / day.
WRAPPING PARTY: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will hold holiday gift wrapping 10 a.m. Saturday for adults. A wrapping paper station will be available 10 a.m. today and Monday at the Brookfield Library for adults.
COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS: Ongoing Neighborhood Empowerment is announcing its 4th Annual Christmas with the Community, a holiday celebration aimed at bringing joy and support to families in the community. The event is noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at STEAM Academy, 261 Elm Road NE, Warren.
This year’s event will feature food giveaways, toy giveaways, breakfast, pictures with Santa and the Grinch, free photo opportunities, cookie decorating, games and more.
This event is free to the community.
Donations are still being accepted to help make this event a success. Contributions can be dropped off at the FOCUS Building in Warren. Sponsorships and financial donations are also welcome and directly benefit local families.

HANUKKAH CELEBRATION: A Hanukkah celebration will be 6 p.m. today at Congregation Ohev Beth Shalom, 1119 Elm St., Youngstown.
FAMILY MOVIE: The Girard Free Library will show the movie “All I Want For Christmas” 11 a.m. Saturday. The event is free for families.
CLUB CHRISTMAS: Warren Music Club will meet 2 p.m. Sunday at the Warren home of Karl and Jeannine Morris. An ensemble of students from the Amanda Beagle voice studio will sing “Christmas from the 50s,” and also sing two duets and two solos.
Attendees will sing “Pat-a-Pan,” a French carol for the Song of the Month, and Ben Olsen will read “What December Says” by Mary B. C. Slade for Music in Poetry.
A Christmas carol sing-along will be accompanied by Karen Hunt, piano, and Elaine Maki, organ. Santa will bring gifts to all attendees as they sing “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” The program is open to the public. Dessert refreshments will be served.
MATHEWS HALL OF FAME: Mathews Local Schools Hall of Fame Committee is accepting nominations for the next class of inductees. Deadline for nomination submissions is Dec. 31.
