BROOKFIELD LIBRARY FRIENDS: The Friends of the Brookfield Library, a nonprofit, volunteer group dedicated to the support and advancement of the library, will meet at 3 p.m. today at the Brookfield Library meeting room, 7032 Grove St. Members and those interested in joining the group, are invited to sit in on the discussion. GIRARD DRAMA CLUB: The Girard Drama Club will present the production of “Noises Off” at 7 p.m. Thursday to Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday at the Girard High School cafetorium. The comedy takes place behind the scenes of a chaotic theatrical production. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students.
OLD FARMING AND ARTIFACTS: The Mesopotamia Memorial and Historical Association will have a free presentation on old farming and household artifacts at 6 p.m. today at township hall, given by Ed Agler who was the past Director of Agriculture In Trumbull County for 20 years. Light refreshments will be served. If you have an interesting artifact, bring it along for show and tell.
FALL LEAVES: The McKinley Memorial Library in Niles will host a children’s program, Fall Leaves, for ages 5 to 11 at 6 p.m. Thursday at the children’s room of the library. Children will learn the science behind the colorful fall season. There will be a brief lesson and group discussion about the colors of fall. Children will then create a fall collage using natural materials provided. Registration is required at 330-652-1704, ext. 4.
