• HOWLAND BOARD OF EDUCATION will meet 5:30 p.m. today at the junior high school.

• LIBERTY BOARD OF EDUCATION will meet 5 p.m. today at the high school auditorium.

• KINSMAN TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will meet 6 p.m. today at the township hall for a zoning public hearing to reaffirm the zoning maps, followed by a regular meeting.

• GIRARD CITY COUNCIL will meet 7 p.m. today at the municipal building with the health and safety committee meeting on ambulances at 6:15 p.m. and finance meeting at 6:30 p.m.

• NILES CITY COUNCIL will have a special meeting 5 p.m. today at the conference room at the city building on consent agenda items.

• LORDSTOWN COUNCIL Finance Committee will meet 6 p.m. today in council chambers at the administration building. The finance committee will meet 3:30 p.m. and the negotiations committee will meet 4 p.m. today for an executive session on negotiations.
