COMMUNITY CELEBRATION: Lighthouse Covenant Ministries, 1755 Shehy St., Youngstown, will host a Community Day celebration noon to 8 p.m. today. There will be vendors, food trucks, a bounce house for children and music. School supplies, clothing and hygiene products will be given away.

SERBIAN DAY PICNIC: Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will host the 88th annual Serbian Day picnic noon to 6 p.m. July 28. The event will include live musical entertainment with the Cleveland Serbs and Djuro Klipa from 1 to 5 p.m. in the pavilion. There will be a bounce house, basket raffle and food.

INSTALLATION: Beulah Temple, 523 Griffith St., Youngstown, will host a pastoral installation 11 a.m. today for Elder Dana Hambrick. The installation chief official is Bishop J. Derrick Johnson, presiding prelate Northwestern District.

TAI CHI: Central Christian Church, East Market Street, Warren, will host Tai Chi and Kung Fu Day 10 to 11:30 a.m. today for those ages 18 and older. The free event will be held rain or shine.

CELEBRATION: Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church of Youngstown will celebrate Thomas Owens Day 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. David Moncrief, church pastor. Thomas Owens was born on the Sharon line of Youngstown and attended Thornhill Elementary and North High School.

Owens has gone through AA’s 12-Step Program and through prayer and fasting, God healed his body. He has been in the ministry preaching God’s word ever since.

DRIVE-THRU PANTRY: Alpha & Omega First Baptist Church, 3120 Winton Ave., Youngstown, will host a drive-thru feeding pantry 9 a.m. July 27. Items will be placed in vehicles on first-come, first-served basis until all food is given away.

WORSHIP AT FAIRGROUNDS: Bazetta Christian Church, under the leadership of the Rev. Timothy McCollum, will host an outdoor worship at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds. Special music will be by the TT Givrs Band. The service will be at the historical stage pavilion next to the Old Bazetta Christian Church. (Enter Gate C at Everett Hull Road.) The service is open to the public. Golf cart rides for those who need assistance will be available.

PERFORMANCE SET: The Gospel Heralds, a team of eight students from Appalachian Bible College, will present a concert of inspirational music 11 a.m. Sunday at Leavittsburg Baptist Church, 4150 Kincaid East Road NW. There will be vocal and instrumental selections and personal testimonies. Admission is free.

SOUL COLLAGE: Unity Church Centre in Liberty will offer an online class, “SoulCollage,” 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays, July 24 to Aug. 28. The method develops creativity and intuition, encourages self-discovery and provides personal guidance.

FELLOWSHIP EVENT: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Warren is sponsoring a monthly Community Fellowship Meal at the St. James White Hall on Burton Street at noon starting Aug. 7 and continuing on the first Saturdays of each month. The public is welcome.
