TCAP set to host COVID-19 testing
FREE SWABBING: The Trumbull Community Action Program is hosting walk-in COVID-19 testing 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Trumbull Plaza, the former Kmart site, 2485 Parkman Road NW, Warren.
Nasal swabs will be administered by the National Guard on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no out-of-pocket cost. No appointments are necessary.
This TCAP-sponsored event is in collaboration with the Trumbull County Combined Health District, Warren officials and the Ohio National Guard.
SOCIETY TO MEET: The Niles Historical Society will meet 10 a.m. Saturday in the McKinley Memorial Museum auditorium. Social distancing will be observed, and masks are required. The event will be a membership meeting and a discussion on historical society events during a pandemic. The budget and finances will be reviewed and voted upon.
ON THE MAP: As part of its Virtual Film Festival, the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown will screen “On the Map,” beginning Feb. 22. An online question-and-answer session with director Dani Menkin will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 24.
“On the Map” recounts the story of how one Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball team no one thought could win toppled the four-time defending European champions and put Israel firmly on the map.
