CHURCH HOLDS TENT REVIVAL: Austintown Baptist Church, 1180 S. Raccoon Road, will hold outdoor tent revival services 6 p.m. Sunday to Thursday. There will be music and inspirational messages.

Speakers are the Rev. Kevin Crum on Sunday, the Rev. Mark Parks on Monday, the Rev. Chuck Homa on Tuesday, the Rev. Gary Frost on Wednesday and the Rev. Rafael Cruz Jr. on Thursday.

Refreshments will be served on Thursday. Social distancing will be practiced.

REDEDICATION CEMETERY: There will be a rededication of the restored original Corner House Church cemetery, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard, following the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday.

The labor of love was completed by volunteers offering their time, money, skills, resources and equipment.

There are at least 16 veterans from the nation’s early history and many of the area’s early settlers, including the Hall family who donated the land in the cemetery.

The public is welcome to attend with social distancing.

RETURN TO WORSHIP: The Unity Church Centre in Liberty will return to in-person worship 11 a.m. Sunday. The service still will be available on Facebook and on the website.

RETURN TO WORSHIP: Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 140 Cherry Ave. NW, will resume in-person worship 10 a.m. Sunday. Masks are required. Doors open at 9:45 a.m.

WORSHIP SERVICE: Agape Assembly Church, 426 Nevada Ave., Warren, is holding worship services in the parking lot 11 a.m. Sunday, weather permitting.

Indoor services are following safety guidelines with temperature checks, masks and social distancing.

DRIVE-UP SERVICE: One Nation Kingdom Ministries will hold drive-up service 10 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot at Focus Building, 2051 Niles Road, Warren.

Bible study will be livestreamed via Facebook at 6 p.m. Wednesdays.

OUTDOOR WORSHIP: Grace United Methodist Church, 1825 Drexel Ave. NW, Warren, is holding outdoor worship 9:30 a.m. Sundays, until further notice, with worship led by Pastor Lizzie Wood. Those attending can bring a lawn chair.

In case of inclement weather, the service will move indoors. Face masks are required.

EXTENDED MASS: The Shrine of Our Lady, 577 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, is offering an extended Mass schedule to accommodate parishioners during the pandemic: 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and noon daily Masses from Monday through Saturday; and vigil Mass 5:30 p.m. Saturdasy and 7 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and noon on Sundays.

The book of Mass Intentions for 2021 is now open and can be made by phone, mail or walk-in. The cost is $10. Call 330-799-1888.

CHURCH DONATES BACKPACKS: Abundant Grace Fellowship Church donated 155 backpacks filled with school supplies to Currie Elementary School students in kindergarten to second grade in Fowler.

Pastor Mike Nicholson, who also is a chaplain in the Army National Guard, and members of the congregation filled the backpacks.

CENTER HOSTS PROGRAM: Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center in Villa Maria, Pa., will offer a weeklong opportunity with Ardath Blake, HM, 7 p.m. Sept. 20 to 10 a.m. Sept. 27, with registration due Sept. 14.

A weekend opportunity with Blake will be offered 7 p.m. Oct. 2 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 4, with registration due by Sept. 18.

In a directed retreat, a director is assigned to each participant. In meeting the director each day, the participant is aided in noticing the reality of God’s presence and activity coming to trust what has been noticed and responding to his presence and activity. Prayerful reflection, often with Scripture, in an environment of complete silence is the usual setting for this process.
