MUSEUM DISPLAY: The Upton Association will host an open house 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The museum, at 380 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, offers displays featuring Harriet Taylor Upton and her work leading to the passage of the 19th Amendment 100 years ago. Face masks and social distancing are required.

ALUMNI HOLD PURSE BINGO: The Girard Alumni Association is hosting a virtual purse bingo online Saturday with drawings of 12 designer purses. The event will include a basket raffle with many themed baskets. Cost is $30 per ticket with each participant deciding where tickets will be placed for selected designer purses. More tickets can be purchased at $10 each if individuals wish to do so. Proceeds will help support all sports teams of the Girard school district throughout the year. Participants will be asked to be at home 7 p.m. Saturday so they can be contacted if they are a winner. Prizes can picked up 2 p.m. Sunday at the door of the Girard High School gymnasium.

GUEST AT FUNDRAISER: Two- time NCAA D1 national champion and professional volleyball player Nia Grant and her volleyball academy are raising money for the Kids Club of Trumbull Family Fitness Center. With COVID-19 having an effect on the organization as a whole, Grant and other high level volleyball players are trying to raise money to help fund the kids club and everything that TFFC does for the community youth. The group will help 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, which is the last week of the fundraiser. Even if people cannot attend, they can still still donate to “Volley Vibes” by contacting Trumbull Family Fitness.
