Bristol library will phase in reopening
CURBSIDE SERIVCE: On Monday, The Bristol Library will begin a phased reopening with curbside service. The initial hours for curbside service will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The building will not be accessible to the public. The staff will prepare patrons’ requests for books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, audiobooks and other circulating materials for pick-up in the library’s parking lot. Items may be returned by using the drive-up book return. Place holds for pick-up on the library’s website, bristol-libraryoh.org
Faxing, copies, notary and Internet services will be available by appointment only and can be scheduled by calling 330-889-3651. All employees will wear personal protective equipment, will practice social distancing and frequently will disinfect equipment and high-contact surfaces.
JCC TO BEGIN SUMMER CAMPS: Camp JCC will open Monday following mandatory and best practice guidelines recommended by Gov. Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health will be followed. Camp JCC is for campers in grades 1-8. Campers participate in daily activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, sports, and swimming. Specialty camps that focus on a specific area of interest including Esports Competitive Video Gaming Camp, 3D Printing Camp, Crayola, Imagine Arts Academy / Artist’s Passport and Horseback Riding Camp are also available.
Housed at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, Camp JCC offers an indoor pool, gymnasium and an outdoor pavilion. Campers also will visit the Logan Campus in Liberty, which includes an outdoor pool.
Camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Morning and afternoon extended care options are available.
Camp JCC is open to the public and provides a safe, fun environment for campers to build lifelong friendships through exciting adventures and quality care.
