ELECTION FORUM: The Trumbull County Township Association and Southington Local School District will hold a meet the candidates forum 6 p.m. Thursday at the Southington schools complex, 2482 state Route 534. All candidates running on the March 17 primary ballot are invited to attend. The forum is to help the public better know and understand those individuals seeking election in the primary election.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with start time at 6:30 p.m. Candidates will be soliciting questions from the audience during the forum. This event is open to all Trumbull County residents.

FARMERS SERIES: The Ohio State University Extension Office will host a Trumbull County Farmers lunch series 11:30 a.m. today on “Grass Waterway For Erosion Control.” The event will be at the Trumbull County Agricultural and Family Education Center, 520 W. CLIMATE CHANGE: The Ohio State University Extension will present “Climate Change and Gardening in NE Ohio” 1 p.m. Thursday at Trumbull County Agricultural and Family Education Center presented by meteorologist Paul Wetzl. Cost is $10. For information and registration, call 330-638-6783.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS: Newton Falls Library will host a Dungeons and Dragons program for teens ages 13 to 18 at 3 p.m. Monday at Dominos Pizza, 10 W. Broad St. Library staff will be on site to host the event.
