Brookfield group to host history event
HARRIET TUBMAN: The Brookfield Township Historical Society will have Allison Smith from the Mahoning Valley Historical Society for her presentation of Harriet Tubman who led many slaves north to freedom. The program is 7 p.m. Thursday at the Briceland Funeral Home on the Green. Route7.
OPEN HOUSE: The Niles Historical Society will hold an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the Ward Thomas House, 503 Brown St., with last tour at 4 p.m. Visitors will be able to see Christmas decorations. EASTER SEALS PRESENTATION: Easter Seals Program Seminar will be held 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., Girard.
