Rotary Club to host Santa’s visit

CHAMPION CHRISTMAS: The Champion Rotary Club will host a Christmas event 3 p.m. Saturday at Champion Presbyterian Church. Santa Claus will arrive by fire truck to visit children from 3 to 5 p.m. There will be refreshments.

There will be a Service Above Self table for people to make holiday cards and cookies. Christmas trees are decorated by Champion Central Elementary students.

CRAFT SHOW: Trumbull Career and Technical Center will host Santa’s family craft and vendor show 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the school, 528 Educational Highway, Champion.

SANTA TO VISIT: Santa Claus will visit children 1 p.m. Saturday at the Vienna Fire Department, 833 Youngstown Kingsville Road.

CHRISTMAS IN LIGHTS: Cortland will celebrate Christmas in Lights 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday along Main Street.

WREATHS FOR VETS: The Pymatuning Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution are looking for donors to sponsor wreaths in Morefield Cemetery, Maple Drive and U.S. Route 62, Hermitage, Pa., for the National Quilts Across America Day Dec. 14.

The cemetery is one of many nationwide taking part in the events. Wreaths are $15 and orders are due today. Volunteers are also needed to help place the wreaths.
