Pair of libraries to welcome ’20

NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY: Children of all ages can ring in the new year with two events Tuesday. The Warren-Trumbull County Main Library and the Brookfield Library Branch will hold New Year’s Eve Party from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be crafts, snacks and balloon drop at noon at both locations. Fancy dress is encouraged but not required. Registration is required by calling 330-448-8134 at the Brookfield Branch and 330-399-8807, Ext. 206, at the Warren Branch. The event is free.

SIT AND STITCH: Newton Falls Public Library will hold Sit & Stitch 2 to 3 p.m. today. Participants can come to knit and crochet. Bring whatever project you’re working on or look through patterns at the library for inspiration. There are charity crafting ideas as well as needles to lend to get started.

LIBRARY EARLY CLOSINGS: All Warren-Trumbull County Public Library locations and services will close early at 5 p.m. Tuesday and will be closed all day on Wednesday for New Year’s Day.
