Holiday trolley visits Niles’ sites

McKINLEY CHRISTMAS: The McKinley Christmas will be noon to 4 p.m. Saturday in Niles. A trolley will take visitors to the McKinley Memorial Museum, McKinley Birthplace Museum and the Ward-Thomas Museum. Admission is a donation of one box of cereal for Niles Community Services. A passport will be given to each attendee or family. If the passport is stamped at all three locations, the participant will be entered into a holiday basket drawing.

BRISTOL LANGUAGE TREE: The 11th annual language tree is on display at the the Bristol Public Library. Students in the Spanish language classes and the Spanish club at Bristol High School have decorated the language-themed Christmas tree with homemade ornaments. The tree will on display through Dec. 17.

The library has nativity scenes on display from Judi Sheridan of North Bloomfield. Many of the nativities were discovered during her travels around the world. The items are on display on the second floor of the library.

MEMORIES OF CHRISTMAS: The Trumbull County Genealogical Society will meet 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Thomas Meeting Room on second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. Attendees will be asked to share memories of Christmas past.

SPREADING HOLIDAY CHEER: The Niles Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade choir will be caroling in the community Friday on Main Street and Robbins Avenue.

MAGIC WOODS: Mill Creek MetroParks is showing the Magical Woods holiday display through Dec. 29 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center, Youngstown. The annual holiday tree walk will be held Tuesday to Sunday.
