Seeing Eye: Crafts, food event Saturday in Warren

VENDOR FAIR AND CRAFTS: West Farmington Assembly 116 of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is hosting a vendor fair and craft show, bake sale and silent auction 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Warren Odd Fellows building, 371 High St., Warren.

Rainbow Girls is a nonprofit service organization focused on community service, character building, leadership skills, patriotism and public speaking for girls ages 6 to 20.

910TH AIRLIFT WING: A program on the 910th Airlift Wing will be held 11 a.m. today at the Cortland Library Branch. The free program will include the history and mission of the local 910th Airlift Wing at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna.

BOX PROGRAM: Making Thankful Box craft will be held 5:30 p.m. today at the Cortland Library Branch. Children ages 8 to 12 will decorate small boxes that can be used to hold notes of things for which they are thankful.

GARDENING PROGRAMS: Trumbull County Master Gardeners free gardening programs will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland. Topics will include harvesting outside shrubs, trees and plants for the holidays.

MATHFEST: Youngstown State University will hold the annual Mathfest 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 14, for ninth to 12th grades.

The day of math workshops and competitions draws high school students from Ohio and Pennsylvania.

The workshop is designed to expose students to math- related problems and activities that they may not normally see in high school.
