Howland event to feature goat yoga

FARMERS MARKET: Howland Farmers Market will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Richard Orwig Park, off East Market Street, Howland. Goat yoga will be featured, an event returning from last year with goats from Earth Angel Farm.
MOVIE NIGHT: The Niles Park Department and the McKinley Memorial Library will hold a movie night 9 p.m. Friday outside the Wellness Center in Waddell Park in Niles. There will be free popcorn and water. The Niles Middle School Dragon Pantry needs the public’s help and will accept donations for the pantry at the movie event with items collected by wellness center. For information call 330-652-5656.
FOOD GIVEAWAY: Grace AME Church, 1137 Main Ave., Warren, is giving out supplemental bags of food for those in need, from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.
PEPPERS IN OIL: Mahoning Valley Scrappers Hot Peppers in Oil Night is scheduled for Saturday. Members of the Italian Food Trail and other local restaurants will bring their best recipe for fans to taste-test and then vote to crown the Best Peppers in Oil in the Mahoning River Valley.
FIBROMYALGIA GROUP PICNIC: The Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia support group will have a summer “indoor picnic” 6 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Warren. For more information, call Judy at 330-872-7206. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share if able.
ANTIQUE TENT SHOW: Shepherd of the Valley Howland residents are hosting an Antique Tent Show from 3 to 7 p.m. July 18 at the Howland Community location, 4100 North River Road NE., Warren. The show will be modeled after the popular television program, “Antiques Road Show,” with appraisers of many kinds of antiques on hand. The event is free to the public. WEEKLY MARKET: The Niles Farmers Market will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursdays July 11 to Sept. 26 at the McKinley Memorial Library lawn, 40 N. Main St., Niles. There will be concerts today and July 25. No markets will be held Aug. 1 and 8.
