Santa at the Square set for Saturday night

KINSMAN CELEBRATION: Kinsman Township will hold Santa at the Square 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the center gazebo. There will be a parade at 5 p.m. from the Kinsman Methodist Church to the center, where Santa will meet with children.
HANUKKAH PROGRAM: The Akiva Academy will celebrate Hanukkah in a program at 6 p.m. today at Congregation Rodef Sholom, 1119 Elm St., Youngstown, with the theme “Stronger Together,” showing that all should stand up against hatred, anti-Semitism and racism.
KINSMAN LIBRARY HOLIDAY: Kinsman Free Public Library staff will hold a Nutcracker Holiday Party celebration 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. There will be visits and photos with Santa, games, crafts and activities for kids, free refreshments and live holiday music from trombone quartet, Bone Voyage. WOMEN’S LUNCHEON: Warren Women’s Connection, an affiliate of Stonecroft Ministries, invites women to attend a luncheon entitled “Picture Perfect Christmas,” 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Delucia’s Banquet Center, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren.
Special feature is “Beautiful Poses” by dance instructor Judy Conti, who also will be the inspirational speaker as she shares her “Amazing Discovery.”

NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED: The Trumbull County African-American Achievers Association is accepting nominations for the Trumbull County African American Achievers Hall of Fame. Also being accepted are the names of high school seniors who exemplify leadership. They will receive a scholarship to the school of their choice.
