WHAT: Board of education meeting Wednesday
PRESENT: Dan Schwartz, Tami Morrison, Dan Denman, Tom Donaldson and Kevin Blair
The board:
• Officially swore-in Blair as the new board member to serve through December 2019, the remainder of the term of Joyce Barzak. She resigned after moving to Cortland, which is out of the school district.
• Hired Alaina Keeney as a custodian at the elementary school;
• Approved the use of blizzard bags when the district uses the five calamity days allowed by the state. Students will receive online assignments for three days to make up work if the district is closed for more than the five days.
