Howland to hold Food Truck Friday

ORWIG PARK EVENT: Howland Township Trustees will hold Food Truck Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Richard E. Orwig Park on East Market Street. Admission is free. There will be eight food trucks. Those attending can bring their lawn chairs or a blanket, for performance of “Elbow Grease” featuring local musician Frank Castellano. For information, call 330-856-2340.

TURNING 65 WORKSHOP: For those turning 65 between and before the end of January 2019 and have questions about Medicare can attend a Turning 65 workshop at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Warren SCOPE Center, 375 N. POSTAL INSPECTOR TO SPEAK: The Johnston Senior Center will host a program with the US Postal Inspector at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the center, 5922 Warren Road. Postal Inspector Sean Brogan will be discussing identity theft and sharing tips on how to protect yourself from illegal telemarketing and mail fraud schemes. RAVENNA ARSENAL: Johnston Senior Center, 5922 Warren Road, will host Ralph Pfingsten, author of “The History of the Ravenna Arsenal” 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Pfingsten will discuss the arsenal and the mysteries behind it. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP at 330-924-0412.
