Memories of Christmas Past celebrating 10 years


CHRISTMAS PAST: Memories of Christmas Past will be noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday and noon to 7 p.m. Thursdays until Jan. 8 at the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Memories of Christmas Past is celebrating 10 years, with winter wonderland displays, decor and the historical society’s collection of items from private collectors.

UNITY EVENT: Lineage Productions will hold a Unity event 8 p.m. Friday for the city of Warren and Youngstown at Restoration Christian Fellowship. 760 Main Ave. SW, Warren. “UN1SON Live” will feature recording artist Kingdom Movement (Warren), Diamond & Yonna (Youngstown), Tre Code (Warren), Jan’e Oliver (Youngstown), and Nu Covenant (Cleveland). The mission is to gather believers from Northeast Ohio and present a united front for peace and unity.

BUILD A BETTER YA: Girard Free Library will hold Build a Better YA Section 1 p.m. Wednesday. Participants can deck the halls by painting bookends for the YA service.

PEACE LIGHT: The 2017 International Bethlehem Peace Light is available today and Christmas at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, Warren. Cockeye BBQ, 1805 Parkman Road NW, Warren has the light available today.

The Peace Light originates in the grotto where the Christ child was born in Bethlehem. For more than 27 years the light has been carried throughout Europe and to the U.S.
