Children’s Rehabilitation seeks partners for 2018
HOWLAND — The Children’s Rehabilitation Center, 885 Howland Wilson Road NE, is seeking participants for its 2018 partnership drive.
Grace Krontiris, project coordinator, said the center has been blessed with individual, business and community support that has for 60 years enabled the pursuit of the mission of promoting independence and inspiring children to reach their full potential.
She said the membership drive has been changed to a partnership drive.
Michael Crogan, executive director, said without the support of the partners the center would not be able to continue to serve as it does.
In 2017, partners helped provide more than 8,000 hours of physical, speech and occupational therapy and over $500,000 in indigent care to those in need, he said. The participants also remain a source of strength and hope for medically fragile children, Crogan added.
Partners may renew or upgrade their partnerships. Donations may be made in memory or honor of an individual.
Kronotiris said partnership forms have been mailed, but they are also available at the center. For information call 330-856-2107.
Also, with winter arriving this week, the center is seeking donations of paper towels, bleach, tissues, disinfectant spray, hand wipes, hand soap and disposable gloves.
Donations may be brought to the center 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
For information, call 330-856-2173, Ext. 109.
