Society hosts Idora Park talk

SPEAKER TO DISCUSS PARK: Idora Park history will be the program for the Kinsman Historical Society meeting 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kinsman Presbyterian Church on Church Street in Kinsman. The program is free to the public. The presentation will be by Jim Amey of the Idora Park Experience who will bring memorabilia. Light refreshments will be served. EASTER EVENT SET: Concord Care Center, 4250 Sodom Hutchings Road, Cortland, is hosting an Easter egg hunt 2:30 p.m. Saturday for children 12 and under. There will be free pictures with the Easter Bunny. Pictures will be available for pickup Tuesday.

BEER AND WINE TASTE: The Youngstown Area Grocers Association will host its 11th annual beer and wine tasting 6 to 9 p.m. today at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Guests will have the opportunity to sample wines and gourmet food. There will be live entertainment, silent and Chinese auctions and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will benefit the children’s program of the Ursuline Sisters HIV/AIDS Ministry in Youngstown and the Prince of Peace Center in Farrell, Pa.
