BBB announces Torch Award winners
WARREN — The Better Business Bureau (BBB) for Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties will recognize several local businesses June 23 with 2022 Torch Awards for Marketplace Trust.
Awards for nonprofit excellence and civic leadership also will be presented during the 11:30 a.m. event at The Lake Club. BBB also will award five area high school students with ethics and integrity scholarships sponsored by Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC and Farmers Trust Company.
The Torch Award recipients are:
• Marketplace Trust — Aim Transportation Solutions, Warren Harley-Davidson Sales Inc., Lewis Construction and Milsek Furniture Polish Inc.;
• Nonprofit Excellence — COMPASS Family and Community Services;
• Civic Leadership — Barbara Ewing, CEO, Youngstown Business Incubator.
The event celebrates BBB accredited businesses and leaders that exemplify BBB standards for trust.
The awards are made possible due to the support of the BBB TrustBuilders, a group of banking institutions in the Mahoning Valley with long-term commitments to the public that include Premier Bank, PNC Bank, Farmers National Bank and Huntington Bank.
