Liberty’s Hampton Inn spends $1.3 million for improvements
LIBERTY — Youngstown-North Hampton Inn by Hilton underwent a $1.3 million renovation, which included all of its 66 guest rooms.
Each guest room was redesigned to “accommodate how guests live, work and relax,” according to the hotel, with new carpet, wallpaper, beds, draperies, televisions and furniture.
“And then the bathrooms got a new face-lift,” too, said Julie Mock, general manager. That work included new toilets, vanities and tub / shower.
The exterior was redesigned to incorporate “modern architectural cues” with facade getting new lights and paint scheme, according to the hotel. Public spaces inside, including the lobby and front desk area, were updated, too.
The renovations that took more than a year to complete were done at the end of 2019. A ribbon cutting was scheduled for April, but postponed until earlier this week because of the viral outbreak.
The hotel, 4400 Belmont Ave., is owned and managed by Youngstown Hospitality LLC and Nate Patel. It features a meeting room, indoor swimming pool, an improved fitness center and is dog friendly.
